PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

PRINCIPALS REPORT

Hello Swan Reach,

Another year is closing as we might ponder once again, where does time go?

What we do know is that we are all given the same atime.pngmount of time each day and I truly hope that time is kind to you and for you.

So where does the time go?   What is it about maturing that makes time seem to pass by more quickly? Is it because as adults we are more consumed with ‘busy-ness’? How nice it might be to return to younger years where each season seemed to last a lifetime and holidays seemed endless. Hoping that you find and are able to preserve yourself and your family precious time that brings you joy.

SRAS looks forward to you joining our end -of-year celebration at Presentation Evening, next Tuesday 12th December, in the gymnasium at 6:30pm.

During holidays, families can experience an increase in sibling rivalry as brothers and sisters spend more time together. Arguments are part and parcel of growing up and our children are more exposed to conflicts than previous generations, through technology and mass media. Learning and applying empathy is one of The Resilience Project’s key practices that will assist siblings and ALL to get along better throughout life and the holiday period. The video links below provide good examples of empathy learning facilitated at SRAS:

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas and New Year season; whatever your family has planned SRAS wishes you the best and hope you have a terrific time.
