HIRAGANA COMPETITION
On Thursday 21st October, Maliyah, Jade, Lily and Bonnie participated in Hiragana Competition at Nuriootpa. This competition is an opportunity to meet students from nine other schools in the Barossa. The students challenge their Hiragana symbol knowledge by competing against each other. We were up against teams that had year 6 and 7 students, but our group fought hard and well.
This year included an art competition and the topic was a kimono design. I took 3 designs that were voted the best from our school. The kimonos were designed by Cora, Charlee and Maliyah.
Well done to all these students for participating in the events. The kimono designs are displayed at the front office for a few weeks.
