We are pleased to update you on our recent pedal prix event, which was the 8-hour endurance race held on August 3^rd at Tailem Bend.

In this race, we finished in a respectable place for our age group and are determined to achieve an improved result in our upcoming events. To better prepare ourselves, we have intensified our training, focusing particularly on endurance and teamwork activities.

The event had support from our families and friends, contributing greatly to the overall enjoyment and success of the day. It was also a valuable learning experience for our new riders, marking their debut and gaining crucial insights for future races.

We are very grateful to the school staff, including Mrs. Bonnie Harmer and her husband Martin, Mr. Carter, and Mr. and Mrs. Griffiths, for generously giving up their valuable weekend time, unpaid, to enable our participation in the Pedal Prix events. Additionally, we sincerely thank Mr. Neil Fawdry and Mr. Troy Haby for their assistance with the marshalling duties.

Our last race for the year is on the 21^st -22^nd of September at Murray Bridge, this race will be a challenge, as it is the 24-hour event.
