Welcome back to term 3, I hope you all had a great school holiday. In Japanese this term, R/1class will be learning the language and culture to do with their birth months in Japanese. We will be using a unit called 'When Is Your Birthday'.

Yr 2/3 class will be learning the body part words and describing words. With resepct to the language they will be learning, students will be creating a Japanese version of Guess Who games and the Wanted Posters.

Yr 4/5 class have started learning about the Japanese sub culture of Anime & Manga. Students will be learning body part words, describing words and the sentence structures for them to be able to create a poster of their chosen Japanese Anime characters.

Yr 6/7/8 class have started learning basic sentence structures to be able to write their daily routines in Japanese. Students will be creating a presentation explaining their daily routine. After this unit of work, students will start planning and presenting their imaginary trip to Japan.
